Starbucks Coffee: The partners exclusively represented Starbucks in Connecticut, Westchester and Rockland Counties in New York, and northern New Jersey from its introduction to the East Coast in 1993 until recently. We successfully completed over 240 lease transactions for Starbucks.
Tri City Shopping Center, Vernon, CT: The partners brokered a critically important lease with Price Chopper Supermarkets to fill a vacancy created by the bankruptcy of Ames Department Stores. At a crucial time, we were successful in closing the 95,000 sq. ft. deal, preventing the defection of many of the tenants in the center and allowing the ownership to stabilize and ultimately sell the asset.
Gateway at Newington: In 2011, the partners were retained to advise on the development of a prime retail corner on the Berlin Turnpike in Newington, CT. We were instrumental in the planning and designing of the new shopping center. We fully leased the center to Bassett Furniture, Starbucks, Chipotle, DiBella’s, Eagle Federal Credit Union, resulting in some of the highest rental rates ever achieved in the market.
717 Fifth Ave., New York City: In the late 1990s, one of the partners represented Yale University in this prime corner at 56th St. in Manhattan. Two leases were executed with the German design houses of Hugo Boss and Escada for a total of 45,000 sq. ft. The rents achieved were, at the time, record breaking rents for Fifth Avenue. The total value of the leases exceeded $200,000,000.
