Fairfield Retail Partners, LLC is a commercial real estate firm specializing in retail leasing and retail tenant representation. We have earned an excellent reputation in thirty years of experience through positive results, in-depth knowledge of markets, and dedication to our client’s needs. Fairfield Retail Partners was formed in the belief that the hallmark of quality service in tenant representation and retail leasing is characterized by direct and sustained involvement by the partners in every account relationship.

By enlisting the services of Fairfield Retail Partners, the client has always been assured of receiving the full attention, knowledge, experience, and technical support from the partners until the goal is accomplished.

The partners have faithfully represented our clients in closing hundreds of retail transactions, representing both landlords and tenants. Our resume includes such companies as Starbucks, Chipotle, Whole Foods, Petco, Party City, Target, Borders Books, Ulta Cosmetics, Price Chopper Supermarkets, Hugo Boss, Escada, Fairway Market, Panera Bread, Noodles & Co., Supercuts, TGI Friday’s, Gamestop, Houlihan’s, Boston Market, DiBella’s Old-Fashioned Subs, Basset Furniture, Applebee’s, Bed Bath & Beyond, Lakeshore Learning and many more.

NOTABLE ACHIEVEMENTS

Starbucks Coffee:   The partners exclusively represented Starbucks in Connecticut, Westchester and Rockland Counties in New York, and northern New Jersey from its introduction to the East Coast in 1993 until recently.   We successfully completed over 240 lease transactions for Starbucks.

Tri City Shopping Center, Vernon, CT:   The partners brokered a critically important lease with Price Chopper Supermarkets to fill a vacancy created by the bankruptcy of Ames Department Stores.   At a crucial time, we were successful in closing the 95,000 sq. ft. deal, preventing the defection of many of the tenants in the center and allowing the ownership to stabilize and ultimately sell the asset.

Gateway at Newington:   In 2011, the partners were retained to advise on the development of a prime retail corner on the Berlin Turnpike in Newington, CT.   We were instrumental in the planning and designing of the new shopping center. We fully leased the center to Bassett Furniture, Starbucks, Chipotle, DiBella’s, Eagle Federal Credit Union, resulting in some of the highest rental rates ever achieved in the market.

717 Fifth Ave., New York City: In the late 1990s, one of the partners represented Yale University in this prime corner at 56th St. in Manhattan.   Two leases were executed with the German design houses of Hugo Boss and Escada for a total of 45,000 sq. ft.   The rents achieved were, at the time, record breaking rents for Fifth Avenue.   The total value of the leases exceeded $200,000,000.
